Valley

Valley was released on August 24, 2016 on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.

I helped lead the creative development of Valley as it was a passion project of both the team and myself. Inspired from the incredibly beautiful Rocky Mountains, I created a fantastical world in which players could explore beautiful terrain, challenging puzzles, and deep themes of life and death. It grew from the simple the desire of capturing the raw feeling of running through the forest. A deeper look into the inspiration for Valley can be found here.

Within my role, I developed the backstory, story bible, character biographies, full dialogue,  full narrative arc, VO casting, spearheaded the gaemplay, and designed several levels using the Unity Engine.  I worked closely with programmers to develop systems for narrative delivery. I then implemented the narrative components throughout the entire scope of the game, including collectibles, story triggers and environmental story telling. Additionally, I wrote the copy for marketing materials and scripted the game's trailers.
